I'm Raindrop Fisher and I encourage people to live a Healthier Fit Lifestyle creating a few good habits around food and fitness.
I love working with people who have never exercised before, with older folks looking to stay active for life, and with anyone suffering from mobility issues.
Workouts with Raindrop fitness classes are doable yet challenging and combine routines from beginner to advanced levels no matter your age or fitness level. Filled with nutritional and motivational tips, you'll have fun creating a healthy mindset.
It was always a dream to become a fitness professional in my younger years, but life and career took me in other directions. I was fifty when I finally decided it was now or never to pursue a career in personal training and became a Certified Personal Trainer through International Sport Sciences Association (ISSA) in 2014.
I lamented on how I would fit into the fitness industry at my age and because I always felt intimidated walking into a gym myself, until I had the opportunity to fall in love with teaching group fitness classes. I then pursued a certification in Fitness Nutrition in 2016 through ISSA and have taught a series of whole food nutrition classes over the years.
I was introduced to Bone Builders of RI in 2016, and found the benefits of such a program immensely gratifying. I became a Certified Leader and began teaching bone density classes for people over 50 right away. My experience and training has taught me that success takes on many forms, from creating consistency in lifestyle to increased bone density from one scan to the next, to feeling confident in walking across a room unassisted. It blows me away to hear my participant's success stories.
As a Level 2 Certified Essentrics Instructor in 2018 and currently working on Level 3, I learned to lengthen and strengthen all the muscles of the body simultaneously using a series of pre-choreographed workouts and techniques that aid in lubricating the fascia, increasing energy and improving joint mobility like nothing else I've found.
It has been incredibly rewarding to know that our classes together impact so many people in such wonderful ways.
